a) Presently working in Drugs Testing Laboratory under Drugs Control Department, the Ministry of Health &Family Welfare Govt. Of Kerala, Trivandrum, India.

As Drug Analyst Gr III (Gazetted Rank / equivalent to .Manager) from 31/12/2002 onwards and

promoted as Head-Contraceptive Section (Senior Drug Analyst Gr.II) equivalent to Senior Manager) from 15/05/2009 onwards.

This is a Quality Control Laboratory under the Ministry of Health and FW, Govt. of Kerala, Trivandrum, established under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940. This Laboratory is the final word about all types of Medicines (including Ayurveda, Homoeo and Sidha), Drugs, cosmetics and all types of Drugs applications in the Kerala State. We are the expert person to the Government of Kerala to advice about the Quality of the medicines and other matters.

We have ten specialist sections like, Vitamins section, cosmetics section, Pharmacognosy section, Microbiology section, Instrumentation section, Ayurveda section, Pharmaceutical Chemistry section, Pharmacology section, Contraceptive section and Documentation.

I am familiar with HPLC, HPTLC, GC, NIR, IR, KF, Flame Photometer, Auto Titrator and etc. and various other instruments required in the pharmaceutical Quality Control.
