• Designed and developed Y2K Remediation process to identify and establish complete plans for each of of the hundreds of systems for airports and airlines. Project Lead and Senior Application Developer 2009-2010

Business and systems analysis, software design, and programming. Contracted to CSDP who has contracted with IBM for a multi-year agreement to upgrade their suite of Service Management software functions. IBM maintains a worldwide network of hardware, software and services consultants/engineers to support a multitude of clients, most are in the Fortune 1000. This software application manages, predicts, schedules and reports on all activities for call centers, hardware service centers, service requests, dispatch, parts, depot repair, warranty, service level calculations, and interfaces to many of IBM’s other internal applications. • Project Lead for one of the backend applications that links the front-end dot.Net web-client. Designed and programmed a service transaction reporting, logging and “roll-back” application tool.

Project Lead and Senior Application Developer 2008-2009

Business analysis, systems analysis, software design, and programming in AIX - UniVerse environment. Neiman-Marcus has $4.4 billion in annual sales, 3 major distribution centers, 2 national call centers, and online web sales. Supported functions in inventory, warehousing, distribution, order entry, sales analysis and reports, and returns. Responsible for supporting, enhancing, and simultaneously redesigning 25-year-old legacy ERP customer care ordering application.

• Within two months, prepared RFI, received responses, narrowed options from 32 to 4 vendors, with data conversion and retooling design specifications at a cost of less than half the budged amount.

• Utilized the existing database with a new thin, web-based client and/or a windows-based PC client.

• The new design incorporated a web-based, real-time interactive training functionality, facilitating Neiman-Marcus’s objective to support more remote off-site “work-at-home” customer care agents.

Paciolan supports athletic programs, fund development and performing arts in 90 universities/colleges (including most of the BCS-50), pro-sport teams (Mets, Padres, Rockies), and performing arts arenas (Dallas Symphony, Bass Hall). The UniData central host is networked with remote distributed retail POS UniData server systems for each of the store locations. The major applications are Inventory Management, Distribution, Financial Accounting, POS Retail and reporting. Worked on temporary assignment as a C2C contractor for SOX IT and internal financial audit, business analysis, systems analysis, writing design documentation and system specifications, software testing, and software programming.

• Designed and developed a Source Code Document Control system

• Identified processes that need audit controls and developed/programmed subroutines that make these processes and functions SOX compliant.

• Worked with the Internal Auditors (Protivity) to verify SOX compliance of the software and data. It took just 6 weeks to define and design the testing criteria and processes, to execute the tests, to validate the data and reporting processes of their IT systems and software.
