Objective

My areas of interest and where I want to continue developing are: Project Management Consultant, Expert Consultant in Business Intelligence, and expert in Business Processing Management. Teaching and Instructing.

Expert in the areas of Techniques and Designs for Data Warehouse, Design of Data Base Diagrams. SQL Server DTS Construction, Business Objects Aplications, SAP BW and skills like Training, Administration Projects & program designer and developer, and project manager execution and Tech Support. I’m very familiar and knowledgeable with programs such as DOS, Unix, Windows Movie Maker, MS Office, MS Access, MS Publisher, MS Project, HTML Programming, MS Visio, Database development, operation and managing, Data Processing, Data Programming (SQL), Video Production.

I became a full time employee of this company in April 2000 as Business Objects Consultant. Nevertheless, I was an external consultant for them prior to this. Installation of applications for the server and to create a data base. Installation and configuration for user, Design, Creation, and maintenance of universes. Design and create executive reports. User training for the creation of reports, technical support for users. Database design (Design of data warehouse for a SQL Server platform). DTS creation and database general maintenance. (ETL Processes) and administration of user requirements. I fulfilled these functions thru different information projects, such as: sales, program execution, logistics, and marketing.

Starting in April 2007 a project known as SAP BW was launched. It was designed to merge the original DWH to a new platform in which I participated from the start in the basic function as well as leader of the project. We hired a company that would execute the construction and was responsible to follow thru and administer the team of consultants.

I was in charged of collecting and analyzing the general directives and executives requirements and satisfy their needs and represent them in models of information. I coordinated the development team to fulfill the needs of users. I was also in charged of the maintenance of querys y user training as well as providing support by using a tool known as BEX Analyzer. We migrated and proceeded to utilize the tools in Business Object once the SAP BW was implemented and functioning.

Even though, we have mostly migrated to the new program, I continue to provide support to several modules still found in the former version. (SQL Server with Business Objects as front end).

March 1998 - April 2000 Meta Data S.A. de C.V.- Business Objects Mexico

Tech Support Chief - from Jan. 1999 thru April 2000 my main functions were to coordinate tech support activities, customer service, training, coordination and support of pre- sale activities, as well as distributor training and support.

Previously, from March 1998 thru Dec. 1998 I carried out as Support Engineer and my main function was to provide technical support in all modules using the tools found in Business Objects.

Sept 1996 thru March 1998 Movistar S.A. de C.V. -Mexico

Project Leader - My main functions were: to be responsible of the Analysis and design of the prepaid phone card system as well as the global administration and function of the project. I also provided adequate customer service for this new implementation on the entire Northern Region of the country (starting with 25 offices). I was also in charged of the design and administrative control of prepaid phone cards, invoicing and countable interface. (Informix System over Unix, and customer development with the use of Visual Basic).

Previously, (Sept. 1996 - Jan. 1997) I served as Program Analyst, this was my first job with this private sector. I was in charged of the development, analysis, programming ,and design of systems programmed in Visual Basic and Access.

Education

Dec. 1995 - Instituto Tecnologico de Durango, Mexico - Bachelors in Computer Information Technology and Administration, with a Specialty in Information Technology. Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. In five more semesters, I will complete my Masters degree in Computer Engineering.

I was Managing Director in the production of two didactic videos for the Electronic Engineering Dept of the Instituto Tecnologico de Durango. (March 1995 thru Dec. 1995). Preventive and equipment for correcting computing errors for COMPAQ AND ACER and for POWER MACINTOSH PCs
