Qualification summary:
I have worked extensively producing in-depth and tightly rendered information graphics, varied levels of page, cover, and special section designs as well as using a broad spectrum of styles and subject matter to create editorial illustrations ranging from cartoons to hard news human interest stories and courtroom trial renderings.
As a news artist, I routinely assumed a range of responsibilities for the completion of a variety of projects from conception to final production, such as readily developing, producing and/or directing entertaining illustrations, information graphics, centerpiece packages, page designs, logos and icons; generating and/or coordinating daily and advance news graphics from research provided, by researching independently or by using existing elements; developing creative concepts for breaking news on deadline; providing art direction to include photo shoots; producing promotional material for a variety of formats; posting content online
