Industrial experience:

From February 2010 to the present, I hold the position of R&D Engineer II

and Polymer Technology Specialist at DAK Americas LLC. In this position, I

am responsible for

. Developing in-house resin/polymer/fiber R&D facilities

. Developing new products and processes in the R&D Lab using lab scale

polymerization reactor units and successfully scale up the processes

at pilot plants to the commercialization

. Developing new products related to bio-polymers, barrier resins,

blends and specialty polymers, new and novel catalysts and additives,

post-consumer and post-industrial recycle polymers, new polymer

formulations, fiber technology

. Leading the commercialization of new products and processes as well as

provide process, product and fundamental technical support for both

internal and external interfaces

. Process development in polymer compounding, injection molding and blow

molding

. Serving as a liaison to universities and/or external contract research

facilities

. Training the technical members of the team and technicians to handle

and operate R&D Lab instruments by following standard procedure,

proper precaution with industrial safety practice

. Presenting the results in detail to the R&D team and management

members on the quarterly basis

I also had the eight weeks Industrial (In Plant) Training at Alkyl Amines

Chemicals Ltd., Pune, India.

I lead a group of three Chemical Engineer Interns to prepare reports

related to design and heat calculation of distillation column of Ethylene

Amine Reactor, to increase efficiency of Thermal Oil Heater, to increase

efficiency of Baggase Boiler.
