CONSTRUCTION TRADES SKILLS:
Building Construction: 5 years experience - Mostly in structural concrete, footings, columns, flat work. I have executed large structural modifications and alterations to existing structures. This trade work went hand and glove with the Project Manager functions on smaller projects.
Low Voltage Systems: For most projects listed below all telecom, data, security and specialty systems were complete in-house. All telecom cabling installed with CAT 5e and CAT6 cabling. Installation of IDF and MDF backbone and DRU with fiber optic uplinks to a central NEC phone system. Skills also include field wiring and install of door access control and detection such as biometric and PROX reader systems, magnetic locking and discreet surveillance systems. I have also installed approximately 20 Dish Network units with RG6 cabling and grounding.

Project: Clearwater Bank Building

Description: Installed gas, water, steam, sanitary and chilled water piping and boiler for a new galley and 3 bathroom sets. All water lines were in copper, sanitary in cast iron and Sch40 steel for steam.
For the last 3 months of the project I worked as an electrical apprentice wiring can lights,
Wiring 42 circuit panels and installed a banked 12 run 500MCM service to the building.

Description: Rough and finish piping for 3 new laundry facilities including gas mains. All units
had new toilets, sinks and shower valves where rebuilt. New center water piping was run and
new hot water circuits installed. I also installed the storm drain piping (6” and 8” PVC) from
each of the building out to the sea wall.

Description: Addition of a 3 story 46,000 sq ft steel structure on top of an existing 4 story hotel used for offices. Initial testing was done on the building by stacking 400 tons of concrete weights to load test the building, once complete I contracted with Skanska USA to build the structure and complete the basic interior build out. All security systems, telecom and data wiring were completed “in-house” with owner supplied crews that I trained and supervised. Concurrent to this a complete overhaul of the exterior land/hardscape was completed with Hanover Pavers and a $120,000 clear acrylic fountain built at the main entrance. Phase 2 of the project was to renovate the adjoining spaces to the new structure with marble floors, stain grade trim and custom built ins. Included was the construction of several high end offices cost $560 per sq ft including radius glass handrails, fiber optic lighting and wood paneling Phase 3 was the renovation to the existing hotel rooms (95) with new paint, furniture and general repairs. The main restaurant was renovated with cypress T&G ceilings and molds, new buffet stations with solid surface tops and equipment. The kitchen was fully upgraded with new plumbing, electrical and equipment that was done all in-house. Concurrent to this the main mechanical equipment was changed out for dual 80 ton TRANE chillers and Lochinvar boilers and water tanks. New building controls were installed
(Trane Tracer Summit) and new electrical service.

EXECUTIVE POSITION SKILLS:
Owner Representation: Represented Owner on 3 separate construction projects, each over $10 million in construction value. These projects consisted of when a separate General Contractor was contracted to complete a major scope of work I acted on behalf of the owner. This included Administrative functions such as: schedule observations, completed work assessments, RFI and Change Order processing as well as working with the Designers at appropriate stages of the project to avoid costly conflicts.
Construction / Project Management: Oversaw all construction methods, coordination of trades, sub contracts and planning. Working with MS Project software to developed projects into comprehensive strategies communicating to subcontractors and Owner. See attached summary of completed projects. I have worked with many Architects and Engineers on Design Development and construction documents that can be forwarded for construction. As I worked directly for the Owner, part of my responsibilities was to oversee these documents and CSI specification data for each project.
Project Superintendent: As listed on my Projects Summary I also held concurrent to the Project Manager functions most of the Super’s functions as well. These functions included site supervision of the trades, schedule of work and materials, OSHA programs and Site Security. I have trained over 20 people to be Foreman and trades personnel on projects I executed. I hosted all Building Officials and Fire Department Inspectors through all stages from roughs to finishes.
