Title: Tooling Manager
A Tier One and Two Automotive parts stamping facility, providing stamped parts and tool, die cast parts, die components and Roll Formed parts for the automotive industry.
The departments I managed were Tool Design, Project Management, Quoting and Estimating New Tool Build and Die Repair; the department consisted of 70 employees and covered five plants. We built tooling for our own facilities and for other automotive companies.
Accomplishments:
• Reorganized a 12 person Toolroom into a 70 person shop, supporting New Build and Die Repair
• Updated quoting and estimating procedure into a standard format

I was responsible for quoting, designing, and program management, for either the in-house build or coordinating with outside shops.
• Started as a Tooling Engineer and moved up through the ranks into the position of Toolroom Manager
• Was responsible for strip layout, quoting, design and build of new dies
