Develop commercial Domino/Notes based applications which have been implemented in the major banks, insurance etc in the world.

• Provide Consultant services to Axs-one(Unify), and help them to develop a Lotus Notes compliance / archiving product using Lotus Script, Java, Notes CAPI and JavaScript /HTML/CSS etc. The products have been implemented by major organizations around the world.

It is a policy based archiving system and will automatically archive, short cut and migrate application data including email documents. Upon request, the system retrieves and displays the archived document automatically. This solution provides many benefits including reduction of application and mail file size, improved server performance, improved scalability and improved stability.

Work with professional service and worldwide support team to provide support services to some big customers, such as Deutsche Bank, Chubb (Chubb Group of Insurance Companies), BNP Paribas Bank, AIB(Allied Irish Banks), DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), AEP etc. I also maintain knowledge base database based on those supports.

Prepare document for QA and support team and help them to prepare difference of kinds of Domino environment to simulate customer production environment, such as:

Domino environment with all servers are in the same Domain

Domino environment with servers from difference Domains, Prepare documents to guide them how to replicate database and mail routing between those servers from the difference domains (such as cross certification in difference levels, create connection document etc)

Setup Domino cluster and partition and cluster servers

Prepare domino environment to look up users from Domino address book as well as other directory using DA (Directory assistance).

Prepare environment with huge number of users and mailboxes to verify the performance

The Domino version in above environments are differences, basically the version are based on the customer production environment. It includes R6/R7/R8. The R8 includes R8.0, R8.02 and R85

IBM Canada Dec 2003 to Sep 09, 2005

Develop Domino/Notes projects for IBM internal (IBM BCS Canada, IBM Canada etc) and work as a DB2 DBA

• Developing Risk Management Portfolio Database for IBM Business Consulting Services (IBM BCS Canada), this database will manage all BCS projects including financial data for the purpose of managing the Risk on these projects. Projects and financial data (TXT and Excel format) are monthly fed into this database. Over 2000 users from BCS Canada are using this database in IBM Canada (Leader developer position for this project)

• Developing Project National database using Lotus Script , Java , and Java XML API, This database will keep monitoring all incoming XML request file , check and validate the format of the XML file , parse the XML and create documents in project database , send notification if any exception happens , and Generate response XML file and FTP(SSHFTP) the response XML to user.

• Developing other Lotus Notes applications, such as “Transaction Sales Portfolio” database” for IBM Canada, “ITS Security” database for IBM Global Services and “TS Deal Manager” ,”IMAC” for IBM Canada. (Leader developer position for these projects)

• Scoping, developing a web-based insurance apply application for one of the biggest Life Group using Lotus Domino R5.0.9a, DB2(7.2), HTML, JavaScript, Java and Lotus Connector, The main function for this application is as followings:

Pulling data from quote system (DB2) and creating documents for underwriters by an schedule agent, These data includes: customer basic information, customer address information, customer cert policy information, customer plan information, and this agent will also calculating requirements based on customer’s age and face amount, triggering difference workflow based on difference conditions, updating quote system (DB2) and recording pulling information to log.

Recording contact information (such as call log) between underwriters and customers

Routing one case from one step to another step based on pre-defined workflow(we have a workflow configuration setup, administrator can define workflow by themselves)

Maintained and administrated current applications and domino systems

• Working with SUN Micro Germany to build notes mail archive solution for Daimler-Chrysler in Stuttgart (Germany), This application will archive user’s mail document to tape (Sun SAMFS) automatically based on policy defined by administrator, after archive successfully, we will replace original document body with a link (stub document), and user can click this link to retrieve archived document from tape automatically.

• Providing consultant services for Sun Microsystems (Software Quality Engineering Department ,Network Storage) in California , These includes:

Provide training to the engineers about Lotus Domino/Notes and above domino archive solution (such as how to install/setup Domino and above archive solution on Sun Solaris…)

Providing test environment setup procedure

Providing documentation about case test procedure

Helping engineers test each case based on test procedure

Reviewing and comment operation manual for this solution

• Design web-based online order system for one of the biggest transportation company in the world with Domino R5 (Extensive use Lotus Script ,JavaScript ,HTML …)

• Developing domino migration tools (from Lotus domino to MS Exchange) for one of the biggest bank using Notes Java API (R6.5), Java Mail API, and JN: DI etc. The main functions are:

Migrate documents from Notes mailbox to Exchange mailbox based on policy defined by administrator (all Notes document link will be changed to URL Link during the migration)

Migrate encrypt notes document to Exchange

Migrate calendar to Exchange

Migrate personal contact information from Notes personal address book to outlook

Build function to help notes end users to transfer their locally archived mail documents to their mailbox so that those mail documents can migrate to Exchange

Senior Consultant (Lotus Development Inc. /IBM China) Sep 1997 --- Aug 2001

• Developed Elevator Quotation System for MITSUBISH Elevator (Shanghai) and Purchase Request System for UMAX (Suzhou) integrating Domino/Notes with Oracle and SAP/R3 using DECS, LEI and SAP LSX etc as parts of their E-business systems. Those two system can help them working with their Back-end system (SAP, Oracle etc) in browser and link their internal staff and extranet users (Vendors, Business Partners etc) and Internet users.

• Scoped, designed, developed and tested Office Automation System for Agriculture Bank Of China (ZheJiang Branch), utilizing the Lotus Notes (R4 and R5 ) integrated development tool-set as well as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, etc. This is a web-based (for extranet and internet users) and Notes-based (only for some intranet users) application system which can assist the staff to complete almost all the daily routine tasks, such as e-mails, purchasing requests, contract management, leave application, information center etc. Managers of any sub-application can define their own workflow perimeters (such as how many steps are involved in this workflow and how many people are involved in each step, etc.) and the system will validate the workflow automatically. This system also supports Microsoft Word for creating mailing labels and envelopes with Domino-COM enabling technology and Visual Basic (VBA). Finally, this system also serves to integrate their back-end system (Oracle, DB2 access as well as SAP) via LEI, ODBC, DECS and Lotus connection etc.

• Planned and implemented Lotus Notes infrastructure and Migrated Notes system from R4 to R5 (More than 20 Domino servers (RS/6000,AIX 4.2,Domino 4.6.7)) for major customers ( such as Agriculture Bank of China, Mitsubishi Shanghai, Top Group( www.topgroup.com ), Changhong Electric Co., Ltd (www.changhong.com) etc).
