Machined details using engine lathe, millers and VTL. Set up and operate gear hobbers and thread millers to produce worm shafts and wheels. Set up and operate Mori Seiki SL-1 CNC lathe and Matsuura M710-V CNC machining center. Perform edits as required.

In-process and final inspection, destructive testing, 1st article inspections, gage maintenance and calibration.

Assistant to Quality Engineer. Performed in-process inspection and approve re-submittals. Collected SPC data and generated reports for in-house record or customer perusal.

Manufactured specialty details using full range of machine tools including engine lathe, horizontal and vertical millers, VTL, boring mill, surface and cylindrical grinders, CNC turning and machining centers. Program and set up CNC machine tools for small cadre of machine operators using Fanuc, System 6, and Allen-Bradley controls on a wide variety of materials eg.: stainless steels, aircraft aluminum, nickel alloys, Hastaloy, Thomson shafting etc. Wrote and edited process sheets.

2006-2007- D&B Machining, Cumberland, RI. CNC machinist.

Machined precision turned components on Fortune V-turn 36 CNC lathe.

2007-2008- JT Machine, Douglas, MA. CNC machinist.

Programmed, set up and operated 3 Hwaechon CNC turning centers with Fanuc control in work cell. Selected and ordered tooling in a fast-paced working environment.
