• Supervisor of Quality Personnel (5 Managers, 2 Engineers, and 24 Inspectors).
• Responsible for the development and adherence to a $1.8 million annual expense budget and a 5-year strategic quality plan; consistently operated under budget, contributing to operating cost reduction effort.
• Played leadership role in successful acquisition of ISO 9001 quality system certification. Led company for final four months before third party assessment with a practical approach to ISO quality standards compliance.
• Accountable for inspection activities, control of nonconforming product, corrective action system, material rejection system, customer complaint system and internal auditing system. Revised and implemented changes to documented procedures and for above systems to make systems more user friendly and efficient, thus saving time and expenses.
• Designed and developed cost of quality reporting system identifying quality prevention, appraisal, internal and external failure costs; understanding these reports allowed for cost driver identification, leading to reductions in quality costs.

• Developed Supplier Quality Manual for Supplier Quality Improvement Program. Purchasing and Quality sponsored a supplier symposium, reviewing manual contents, quality, engineering and purchasing requirements and initiate supplier partnering.
