Military Police Gunner Kandahar, Afghanistan Oct 2011-Present

Performed over watch for lead truck throughout Kandahar city. Trained, and conducted joint patrols with Afghanistan uniform police (AUP). Maintained crew serve weapons for operations and carry same weapons on dismounted patrol.

Military Police Driver FT. Hood, TX/Kandahar, Afghanistan April 2010-Oct 2011

Maintained, serviced, and operate vehicle for operation. While deployed I train and conduct partnered operations with AUP. This includes and is not limited to dismount and mount patrols, clearing operations, and operation/building up of check points in the area of operations. I preparing vehicle for prisoner transport and/or VIP personal security detail (PSD). While not deployed I conduct Law enforcement patrol of a base of 300,000 personnel. I was a patrol supervisor and a patrol man where I conduct patrols and maintain order at/around the resort of Edelweiss Lodge & Resort. I was in charge of the entry and control of USAG Garmisch (IACS), and second for supply. Being in charge of the entry and control of USAG Garmisch I maintained all equipment worth over 3 million dollars and order needed supplies. Being second for supply I backed up the MP personnel in charge of supply were we organized and order supplies for the MP station and Garrison.

I was assigned to the HHC BSTB 3rd INF BDE 101STDIV, where I was deployed to Iraq in support of operation enduring freedom. I was a gunner and a driver during this time. My jobs while not deployed consisted of Law enforcement patrols, training of other soldiers in the handling and processing of prisoners. While deployed my job consisted of support of 3rd INF BDE, Internment and resettlement operations (where I helped train Iraqi police and was Night NCOIC of the BDE EPW collection point), Convoy operations, route security, EPW operations, and PSD operations.
