• Advice to drilling operations on the use of drilling fluids, completion fluids and cementing.

• Advice on treatment used for well stimulation and work over activities.

• Managing well fluid activities simultaneously in 7 rigs.

• Maintaining relevant interfaces across the organization to ensure effective chemistry input into asset and corporate plans and activities.

• Management of contracts to support chemistry activities.

• Identification and implementation of business improvement opportunities.

• Develop proper cementing practice to cure losses. Presented paper on the Cementing technique in APIDEC, 2008 held in Abu Dhabi.

• Carried lab test for well clean up using internal breaker. Field trial done successfully.

• Carried out studies for shale inhibition using polyamine.

1998 TO SEPTEMBER 2003:

Worked as Superintending Chemist in the Regional Geoscience Laboratory of ONGC.

• Planning, coordinating, and directing day to day operation of the laboratory.

• Testing of chemicals like, demulsifier, pour point depressant, TEG,MEG,EGMBE,Polyelectrolite, corrosion inhibitor for their quality certification.

• Studies for improving in specification of oil field chemicals so as to keep abreast of rapid changes in oil industry and minimize cost.

• Review and suggestion for modification in the existing specification.

• Providing time to time laboratory backup service to field problem.

• Screen, evaluate and recommend remedial measure for wax deposition in the flow of the various fluid transportation lines.

• Developed product specification and laboratory test procedure for drilling fluid chemicals and testing.

1987 to 1980:

• Worked as Shift Mud Engineer in the oil field.

• Treated mud to achieve the mud properties within the specified range.

• Maintained inventory record of all the mud chemicals throughout the course

of the well.

• All precision for the safe handling of the chemicals was carried out.

• Worked closely with proponents, communicate effectively with field

personnel.
