2. Assistant project manager -Ratna hi-tech engineering (India) private Limited Turnkey projects (ALDS Errection & Commissioning) April 2008 to Aug 2009. Ratna Hi-Tech Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd is promoted by well qualified, experienced technocrats in 1997 for the purpose of design, supply, erection, commissioning of LPG systems. Ratna hi tech engineering is one of the approved operator in India by CCOE (Chief Controller of Explosives) of India. Ratna Hi-tech are designing, supplying, fabricating, erecting, installing, testing, commissioning and maintaining ALDS (Auto LPG Dispensing Stations). Worked as a Assistant project manager. Trained the team so as to carry out all the project and maintenance work successfully.

Project responsibility:

• Handling on-going Auto LPG dispensing station projects for customers like IAGL, BPCL, IOCL and HPCL.

• Review the scope of work to clearly understand the job to be carried out by our company and explain it to the entire concerned person related to that job. Cost control in the project. Optimized usage of resources available.

• Reviewing the Key plan, Plot plan, P&ID and GAD.

• Planning of Manpower and equipment requirement at the site by reviewing the Piping Isometric. Planning and day wise progress monitoring as per the Base line schedule updating the Schedule. Monitoring project activities at the site through Site engineers.

• Co-ordinate and Supervise in preparation and execution of the piping method statement based on Companies

• Standard approach to various projects wherever necessary for the successful completion of the project and to the satisfaction of the client.

• Preparation of Claim for all the extra works like Variation order, delays due to client(Material, equipment, foundation and all the other activities to be handed over by client), Field design change and more if any.

Maintenance:

1. Recognizing the type of problem and finding solutions.(Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics)

2. Selection and deputing the team by recognizing the type of problem.

3. Repairs, modification, and Replacement of the pipe lines, equipments and instruments.

4. Calibrate the Dispensers, Mass flow meters and Level transmitters.

Maximum 85-90% of the problems in projects and maintenance were solved by communicating on phone.

3. Regional engineer - Ratna hi tech engineering (INDIA) private limited (Apr2007 to April 2008)

Errection and Commissioning of AUTO LPG dispensing stations.

Responsibility:

• Designing the P&I system, pneumatic system and control panel

• Preparation of SLD, cable schedules, and pneumatic system Drawing.

• Preparing the Bill of materials for the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation

• Project co-ordination and communication with different Agencies. Managing day to day affairs at site & overall site the region Tamilnadu , Andhrapradesh& Kerala

• Project fabrication handling (i.e. checking Welding Procedure specification, welder performance & qualifications etc, checking radiography films for but welded joints in consultation with TPI)

• Preparing stage wise fabrication and erection progress report and daily progress report. Site inspection of the ALDS material.

• Testing of the entire system

- Mechanical: Hydro test, Pneumatic test

- Calibration of Auto LPG dispenser before & after commissioning.

- Testing of cathode protection for underground tanks & piping.

- Testing of entire system before commissioning.

• Installation, testing & commissioning of Submersible pump. Instruments include Automatic tank gauging, Level alarm switch, pressure transmitter. Digital interface system, pressure indicator, Gas leak detector system, Flow meters.

• Installation, testing & commissioning of Auto LPG dispensers.

• New site visit, measure and select the site for as per the CCOE norms.
