Implemented basic contract manufacturing with the intent of longer term complete external assembly services. Reworked bills of materials for volume purchasing and contract manufacturing.

• Created assembly instructions for volume production and worked through many design for manufacturing issues (the largest of which being the creation of wiring harnesses).

• Created the purchasing department including operating procedures, negotiation of volume pricing, delivery negotiations, alternate sourcing etc.

• Handled all logistics for shipping (PCAS has satellite offices in Chicago and London UK), as well as coordination of support and maintenance personnel. This included a large number of trade shows throughout the US.

• Developed Field Services group which included site inspections, logistics/customs, installation, field commissioning, preventative maintenance and service calls.
