Sr. Programmer Analyst/ Project Manager/Business Analyst – EDI Specialist
Currently my employer is merging two divisions. I am responsible for all interface systems for the new SAP software.
• I was responsible to start EDI relationship with Best Buy and Target Stores. The Project involves trading 850, 810 & 856 documents with printing Target Specific Bar-Code labels. This project requires extensive coordination between different departments as well as different divisions of my company.
• I am responsible for working with the users analyzing the problems in sales area and invoicing. I am coordinating programming activities between SAP Consultants and My company users.
• I have been responsible as an analyst on a Warehouse Relocation Project to make sure all the business processes are addressed with the affected departments. My responsibilities include researching different software packages for the company. I also am responsible negotiating various contracts. Wherever possible I also am a driving force for improving business processes.
• When my company inherited DSI Freight tracking software from other division, my responsibility was to analyze the business processes and modify the use of software accordingly. This involved extensive inter-company and inter-departments coordination. All the problem areas had to be identified and responsibility chart was organized.
• Completed a project with Sears working with Premenos EDI software and its interface with SAP software. Familiar with SAP IDOC technology, working with 850,856,810 & 210 EDI documents.
• Responsible as a primary coordinator between the headquarters and our manufacturing facility located at Mexicali, Mexico.
• I was one of the team members converting BPCS manufacturing Software to Y2K compliant Software.
• Worked with BPCS Manufacturing software version 3.0. I am responsible for modifying, analyzing, and coding new programs. I am in charge of general user support. I acted as a coordinator between the plants for ‘Cost Simplification Project.' I had an opportunity leading EDI project in coordination with Japan MIS to transmit purchase orders.

Worked with JDE software version 5.1. I was actively involved with converting accounting system from version 5.1 to 5.2. I have experience with reinstalling software as well as PTF. I am familiar with technical foundation, Inventory Management and Product data and shop floor control aspects of JDE Software. My Main responsibility was to write interface programs between in-house written software and JDE.I have also written payroll conversion programs. My daily responsibility included assisting users at all 14 locations throughout the country as far as JDE applications are concerned. I have written item master conversion programs and also sales distribution and purchasing system application programs. I was a project leader to initiate accounting data transmission between Quikset and Bank Of America. My responsibility included developing and installing hardware as well as software.
