Creatively directed and/or designed all direct marketing and promotional materials for SunWize. Responsible for the oversight and the look and feel of all internal and external documents, marketing materials, web sites and SunWize branding for three divisions within the Products and Systems Group. Focus on developing brand equity by reinforcing the different synergies within the company and the value of doing business with SunWize - thus, building brand loyalty. Created and wrote ad copy for marketing campaigns. Ensured cost containment according to budget constraints and subcontracted vendors as needed. Designed and maintained multiple corporate web sites. Created and produced multi-media sales presentations and videos for product releases and training seminars. Responsible for product photography and shooting on location.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Developed various marketing programs responsible for taking SunWize from a relative start-up company in 1996 through the acquisition by Mitsui in 2006.
• Implemented web-based strategies that increased web site traffic from 3K hits in 1997 to over 100K per month in 2007, resulting in a dramatic increase in sales leads and revenues.
• Produced an industry-first, online Power System Specifier that generated a significant volume of industrial leads and increased sales of SunWize® Power Ready Systems.
• Created the SunWize logo and developed an integrated, branded corporate image for all SunWize marketing materials.
• Developed the first full-color, glossy solar products catalog in the industry and created a program to offset production costs by charging vendors for inclusion and selling advertising space.
• Initiated a corporate social media strategy and produced Email blast marketing programs. Achieved the initial objective of building an online community, increasing brand awareness, customer contact and promoting SunWize as practicing “thought leadership” in the solar industry.
