• One-year temporary assignment responsible for deciphering and organizing the retention of confidential management files and records. This process included a very detailed process of evaluating the information for legal retention, and how long to retain, whether information needed to be shredded or could just be thrown away. In the absence of leadership, I took it upon myself to coordinate the entire office which included all retirement records, disability records, vested records, 401K records and all personnel records worldwide to ensure that when the records were moved from the building to their new site, they would be delivered to the correct location upon arrival. This also included the careful packing and marking of each box as to not get missed.

• Responsible for all administrative and secretarial duties for the General Manager and four Purchasing Managers. Acted on the managers’ behalf, in their absence contacting vendors or suppliers to make sure the jobs were going as scheduled. Acted as troubleshooter on situations that may have transpired.

• Sent blueprints with specifications to various companies who were bidding on jobs to be fabricated at our various plants. Assisted the engineering staff with questions on their jobs that were out for bid. Follow up with the companies to ensure they received their bid packages and were on schedule for their return bid.

• Customer Service Representative for Floor Operations in the Northeast Region of the United States, flooring claims.

• Worked with customers, wholesalers, retailers, and the Armstrong Northeast Region Sales Representatives to resolve customer issues.
