Most of the US Banks’ business has been handled by the Legacy Mainframe systems. But there was a need to optimize the cost of Mainframe tables to inquire the data. So the data from Mainframe is kept away for inquiry in different read stores( Cassandra or Postgress) to minimize the cost.

So the data has been loaded to new tables through one time load, Real Time streaming and Batch Streaming.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Had opportunities to work on the different areas of streaming by sending the data from Mainframe thru ZOS Connect API to HEC then to Kafka (By CDA Framework)

2.Use Rancher to Monitor the DD’s, then use Postman scripts for registering the new event data in HEC.

3.Splunk Dashboards are used to Monitor the data flow from MQ to HEC then to Kafka and then to the DD.

4.Working on Leveraging the system to use LUCAS Framework to migrate the On prem Kafka to the Cloud based Kafka to Azure.

5.Mainframe deployments are managed through CICD pipelines by GITLab and JENKINS.

to navigate it with ease to enter the data by including the Scroll up and Scroll down logics

using TSQUEUE and COMMAREA to store the data. This has helped the client ad their

customers for the Regulatory compliance.

• Multiple Drivers- In Mutual funds a large volume of data been processed through the

driver which comes from NSCC. With JCL, COBOL and Easytreive split the higher

volume of data into 5 based on the Customer account numbers and made it to run

through 5 drivers which reduced the run time considerably from 8 hours to 1.5 hours

which in turn saved many SLA’s

• Managed a team of 5 and involved in the meeting with the Onsite co-ordinators to track

the successful flow of the project and prevent any issues with the implementation. Also

taken care of the Warranty support activities of the Project after Implementation.
