Testing blood, Urine and other body fluids in all departments that includes Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation and Urinalysis and limited Microbiology and processing station also send out section.

Reporting and verifying lab test reports in LIS software. I have used various programs, like Cerner, Epic and Lab Doc at other labs.

Calibrations of varied lab instruments and their reagents making sure quality controls are within acceptable range before running patients’ specimens and proficiency samples like API and CAP.

Solving discrepancies, troubleshooting instruments malfunctions, and documenting all issues, problems, and action taken in solving and correcting the ongoing issues.

Communicating all critical reports to physicians and RNs in a timely manner as mandated by lab protocol and SOP. Keeping track of inventory of all reagents, calibrations, and QC materials.
