Snowflake Administration

Responsibilities:

Having 4 years of experience in Snowflake Administration and Security.

Build and maintain Snowflake services for creating advanced data solutions throughout the organization.

Implementation with help of Snowchange, python and AzureDevops to create CI/CD pipelines to automate the snowflake resource provisioning.

Implementation of Azure SCIM process to grant the access to users and Service accounts.

Integrate and establish the connection between Snowflake to all other destinations (SQL, ADF, Salesforce, Power BI, SSIS, Informatica etc.).

Azure PAAS Administration

Responsibilities:

Having 4 years of experience in Azure PaaS admin and Security, ADF’s, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage accounts, Analysis Services, Azure SQL database, Integration Runtime, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Log Analytics ….etc.

Responsible for implementation of security in all Azure applications and storage accounts.

Responsible for provisioning all Azure resources creation (resource groups (RG), Azure Data Factory, Linked services, IR’s, Logic apps, Function Apps, Storage accounts, Log Analytics, Event Hubs …etc).

Responsible for implementation of security in Azure SQL databases and taking backup of SQL databases.

Creating Secrets in Azure Key Vault.

Responsible for implementation of security in Azure Analysis Services and taking backup of AAS instance through SSMS.s

Implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS Services.

Should be able to analyze and resolve azure platform related issues and assist application support/development teams to perform azure activities.

Responsible to improve the performance and optimization of azure data bricks clusters.

Engaging Databricks vendor support as needed.

Upgrading DBR versions and install libraries in data bricks clusters.

Creating data bricks linked service connections to Azure Data factories and Mount Points creation of the Azure storage accounts through data bricks.

Responsible to monitor the jobs and data bricks resource usage cost.

Responsible to reduce the data bricks resource usage cost to improve the performance.

Hadoop Administration

Responsibilities:

Having 4+ years of experience in Hadoop Administration and Hadoop Ecosystem components HDFS, Yarn, Map Reduce, Pig, Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Flume, Oozie, Sentry, Kerberos, Zookeepers, HBase, Kafka, Spark, ETL-Informatica, DMX, Autosys.

Strong experience in issue resolving and troubleshooting cluster issues.

Monitoring Hadoop servers/services using Cloudera Manager.

Strong experience on Cloudera Manager process of installing and managing multiple nodes Hadoop cluster.

Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure.

Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines.

Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning.

Implementing security for authentication and authorization through Kerberos and Sentry.
