RR Donnelley Atlanta was a $50MM printer and had over 125 employees. I managed 3 local and 16 remote estimators while establishing a quote approval system for estimating that maximized the plants capabilities and estimating successes. Set up a supply chain for web papers for Orlandi as the specially made Ph free paper took 4 to 8 weeks to get onsite. Reviewed live jobs before they went into production to verify the most efficient method of production would be used. Researched outside vendors and services (including sourcing Wide Format printing and all print finishing). Once the project became live, I reviewed those quotes to attempt to increase profit margins. Conducted postproduction costing reports to maximize future profitability. Updated estimating system with data from postproduction data as needed. Also set up, trained & implemented an estimating system for the Indigo.

I stepped into the role of Project Department Manager. Directly managing 6 employees and comanaging 6 others during my nineteen months in the department, my team trained staff and set up the WCSS Accounting system in the plant which is still in use today.

I worked in a department of six estimators and a manager. Quickly became the Lead Estimator quoting all the work for Orlandi. The fragrance customer was approximately $8MM per year.
