Conduct and witness the welder qualification skill test in accordance with the approved WPS and prepare welder performance qualification record (WQT).

Surveillance and monitoring the contractor’s Process activities like fit-up, Pre-heat, NDT as per FQAP/ITP, PWHT and WPS preparing inspection report for day to day activities.

Monitor the welder performance on the basis of acceptance of NDT of Joints and maintaining the record as per line History.

To supervise welding procedure qualifications to be employed at site and the qualifications of the welders operating within the plant, according to Project specifications and standards and tocheck that field welds comply with project specifications.

Witness and Review NDT Procedures and its Activities and also heat treatment in welding and comparing with codes and standards.

Radiographic film interpretation and preparation of RT Reports for Welding, Casting and Forged Components with respect to appropriate standards.

Coordinate with clients for QC issues and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for offering the stages as per Inspection Test Plan.

Prepare QC documentation for handling over to the clients and maintaining proper filling system. NDT & DT

To Prepare and review the NDE Procedures and witness the NDE Activities like Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing with respect to the procedure and Inspection specifications.

Review and conduct Final Measurement inspection of Engineering Products as per drawing.

Review Metallurgical Testing methods like Tensile Testing, Compression Testing, Charpy/Izod Impact testing, Bend Testing, Chemical Testing, Hardness Testing and Micro & Macro Examination about its specimen preparation and Acceptance Codes.

FLANGE INTERGRITY MANAGEMENT

Interpret with work scope, test packs, piping specifications, P & ID’s, GA Drawings and isometrics.

Inspection of piping and mechanical flange components against project specifications to ensure compliance.

Ensure compliance with project Joint Integrity Management Procedures.

Inspection of flange related spool fabrication, erection and flange assembly.

Under direct supervision, conduct quality inspection of all bolted joint assemblies as contractors disassemble plant process equipment and piping for maintenance in which the witnessing and verifying the fit-up and bolt-up of all flange connections will be done.
