As CIO, Darrin ensured that this iconic resort operates with cutting-edge technology that enhances guest experiences and streamlines operations in one of the world's most luxurious destinations. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Craft and implement IT strategies that align business goals with Atlantis Bahamas, enhancing the guest experience and operational efficiency in a complex and vibrant environment that truly operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

Technology Management: Oversee the integration and maintenance of a vast array of technology solutions, including applications, Wi-Fi access points, network switches, servers, and data centers. Manage critical systems such as IPTV, RFID door lock systems, property management system, F&B, retail, activities point of sale systems, waterpark operations, finance, procurement, supply chain, payroll systems, and cloud solutions.

Budget Oversight: Manage an extensive IT budget, balancing operational (OpEx) and capital expenditures

(CapEx) to optimize cost efficiency and support the resort's expansive IT infrastructure, at $15M+ per year.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse IT team across multiple departments, fostering innovation and ensuring high performance to support the resort's extensive facilities and services. Leader for Team of 80 IT Professionals between four offices and three call centers. Including critical data centers strategically located in the Bahamas and United States for resiliency, disaster recovery & business continuity.
