A team lead, working with 24 Engineers. Performing mostly the back-end Data Center Infrastructure build-out of the world’s largest and fastest 10,000 node exascale clustered HP/Cray Servers and 1000 Cray Switches intercon-nected by a high-speed backbone of L1 and L2 cabling. Rack/Stack Updating firmware, Additional tasks include, break/fix repair and upgrade of the Intel/Cray server components. Switch hands-on replacement, cable trouble-shooting, loopback port testing.

May 2021 – June 2022 Ahlstrom-Munksjo ONITE CONTRACT ENGI-NEER

In a short-term contract role assisting with a Win10 Std to Win10Pro and Domain migrations. Performing Pxe Boot imaging installations and user Domain changes and migration from Exchange to Office 365. Microsoft MFA. In-Tune. Provided remote infrastructure monitoring and 3rd Level MS application and connectivity support as well as Lap-top/Desktop hardware repair and replacement for a regional MSP including Server builds and fault isolation of Windows 2013 through 2016 running multiple VM’s for mission critical defense industry and medical operations as well as manufacturing.

Provided 3rd Level MS application and connectivity support as well as Laptop/Desktop hardware repair and re-placement. Performed Logistic failed part diagnostics and requisitioning for both FTW Campus facilities and Na-tionwide remote offices. Secondary Citrix 7.1 administration utilizing Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) in a server hosted VDI (Virtual desktop infrastructure) environment.

I concluded my final local deployment mission in a Joint Forces Army/Air Force / State and National Guard, Texas Rangers and Border Patrol Mission for Governor Perry's Operation Strong Safety where I assisted in the setup and installation of Data Systems installation and operation for the Tactical Operations Center.

Independently contracted for a small Texas based Oil and Gas Petroleum exploration company with interests and operations in New Mexico, Texas and Montana installing an I.P. Camera/DVR/Remote surveillance system which included design and application of a private Mesh point to point MWAN utilizing UNBIQUITY product solutions.

Concluded a Server Hardening/Remediation project utilizing reports generated from Nessus and Catalyst Vulnera-bility scanning reporting Tools to assist become FTC compliant.

L3 Windows Server Support administrator for a remote infrastructure data center provider in the healthcare indus-try. Contracted to provide Remote Infrastructure Support for a mid-size Citrix PS4.5 Farm environment migration growing to roughly 100 Presentation Servers and applications across two geographical separated Data Centers. Primarily supporting the Citrix Server Farm Core services through monitoring, troubleshooting and response and secondarily providing L3 assistance to the Citrix Help Desk staff when needed for connectivity and application issues involving the migrated thin client desktop and Wyse terminal users community while monitoring Server Health and performance and availability.

Contracted position as CITRIX ADMINISTRATOR serving Washington Mutual’s Banking Data Center in a Mi-crosoft Clustered DFS environment primarily acting as the junior level Citrix administrator performing day to day support, and migration from MetaFrame XPe to PS 4.0 in a mixed VMWARE and clustered hosted environment. Secondary Windows and VMWARE ESX Server 3 support and HP ProLiant, COMPAQ G2/G3/G4 blade build out, Replistor-Octopus replication upgrade, Tier 3 Server maintenance and application support.

Data Center 24x7 Server Support HP/DELL Server maintenance and build outs according to established change control procedures in a mixed Windows/Citrix environment consisting of Dell and HP ProLiant Servers and G3/G4 BladeServers.

Contracted as a temporary primary onsite CITRIX ADMINISTRATOR position while the permanent Citrix Ad-ministrator was on temporary leave of absence. Supported on-going maintenance of platform hardware and soft-ware hosting a 12 Server Citrix XPe farm atop of Windows 2000 and 2003 HP ProLiant, Compaq G3/G4 Servers.

Nov 2004 – Sept 2005 CITIGROUP COM-PUTER CONTRACTOR

Repeat engagement performing duties similar to previous, that of providing temporary assistance to the I.T De-partment in Server Builds and tear downs, and Windows Systems Administration in a Mixed mode NT Server 4.0/Win2000 HP ProLiant, Compaq G2/G3 Server Environment. Build outs included Server Lock-down and patching as prescribed by the CITI product development team, additionally included targeted 3rd Level desktop support as part of their conversion from an Microsoft Windows NT Domain based environment to AD.

May 2004 – Aug 2004 DR HORTON BUILDERS CON-SULTANT

Contracted as the primary CITRIX ADMINISTRATOR in a 17 Server member MetaFrame XPe 1400 user Farm environment built upon Compaq HP ProLiant, Compaq G3/G4 Servers and Dell rack mounted Enterprise Class Servers. Duties entailed performing support of the Server Farm while the existing Administrator was off tasked. This included daily monitoring of the Data Collector CMC. Citrix Load balancing management. Serving as the sin-gle primary point of contact for the D.R. Horton loan processors/underwriter and all other users. Secondarily, per-formed Win2003 Sever build-outs on Dell PowerEdge Blade Servers.

Feb 2004 – April 2004 CITIGROUP COMPUTER CONTRACTOR

Temporarily provided assistance to the I.T. Department in HP ProLiant, COMPAQ G2/G3 blade Server Builds and tear downs, Level 3 desktop support, and Windows Systems Administration in a mixed mode NT Server 4.0/Win2000 Environment. Builds outs included Server Lock-down and patching as prescribed by the CITI prod-uct development team.

Aug 2003 – Dec 2003 CAPITAL ONE COMPUTER CONTRAC-TOR

Contracted to the Auto Finance Division to assist in short-term Data Center Move/Consolidation projects. Primary responsibility was to correct Enterprise class Compaq Server configuration errors encountered by in-house I.T. staff and document such corrected measures. This included inspection of their Imaging Process, Correction of hardware assembly errors, conflicts in use of ROMPaq’s/ BIOS versions, Smart-Start versioning and Compaq management agents. Additionally, performed Server build-outs with corrected Images, rack mounted and assisted with cable management and I.P. KVM installation for upwards of one hundred Moved/Consolidated Compaq Enterprise class G2/G3 and HP ProLiant Servers.

July 2002 – May 2003 HEWLETT- PACKARD ON-SITE FIELD ENGINEER

On-Site Engineer for an Enterprise class banking environment responsible for Warranty/Repair diagnosis and re-placement for 900+ contracted HP ProLiant, COMPAQ G1/G2/G3 blade Servers. This included daily monitoring of Server Software and Hardware health metrics through implementation and use of Compaq Insight Manager 7.0. Additional responsibilities included Inventory control and assistance to the customer’s I.T. staff to determine whether the problem was a user installation error, 3rd party software miss configuration or valid hardware compo-nent failure of Motherboards, Hard-Drives, disk component sub systems, Power supplies, environmental monitor-ing systems in a mission critical 24x7 environment.

Independently contracted to provide part- time assistance to the Primary System administrator in a NASDAQ listed small trading firm environment. Responsible for daily Servers monitoring/trouble shooting and repair. OWA im-plementation upon Exchange 5.5. Implementation of Integrated Research “Prognosis” enterprise class Net-work/Server/Application monitoring product capable of providing HTML and XLS generated reports on Server Utilization/Health metrics of all interconnected Servers, Workstations and backbone hardware through client mod-ules and SNMP traps.
