I am an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner currently employed in Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine. I previously started this journey after also being DOT certified. Previously to this I worked in Urology Specialty clinic caring for both male and female Urology needs and care. I can perform ultrasound procedures that assess men’s health to include assessment of the prostate for procedures and annual men’s wellness checks. I also see at times some patients in the inpatient areas as well. I also have many years of experience in Primary Care and Internal Medicine, as well as Mental Health as an Advanced Practice Provider. I am certified in Family practice, but I spend most of my time caring for adults over the age of 15 years. I feel very comfortable caring for Gerontology, adults, and young adults. In my previous roles, I also cared for children and teens over the age of 5-6 in both Primary Care and Mental Health. At times, I treat and have cared for spouses, older adults and have additional treatment plans and a plan of care that is individualized. I feel that is an honor that I do not take lightly, and it is an honor to care for patients/individuals sometimes multiple generations at times within a family for their individualized health. I worked as a provider in the Advanced Urology Institute/TRMC as a provider caring for both men and women with their Urology needs. I treated men in the clinic for ED, BPH, Testosterone Replacement Therapy, pre Prostate Cancer Identification, kidney stones of both sexes.
