Ensuring data type and frequency of collection (reporting profile), acknowledged UDP/IP messages transport to the gateway for decode, rules engine for trip generation, crash detect reporting and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) are to spec and meet end-to-end requirements.
·Successful deployment of CalAmp LMU3000, LMU3030 device in several states by American Family, Metlife, Mapfre and several pilot programs currently in progress. Novatel 3060 device development complete and ready for deployment. Scripting is employed to match custom data reporting in order to arrive at optimal streaming and burst data transport to meet accuracy and precision without exceeding data plan cost.
·Co-inventor of a priority queue scheduling scheme patent for serving UBI and Crash data buffers allowing crash notification (MEMS’ g-force accelerometer and acoustic sensor readings exceeding set thresholds) to take precedence over UBI without any loss of data.
·Offering telematics dongle security and assuring carrier that all available measures are taken to minimize risk of hacking or remote command and control of the vehicle by offering device access control, application layer and over-the-air interface encryption.
·CalAmp LMU3010 BLE performance validation when utilizing SPP over BT to ensure acknowledged UDP transport and segmentation and reassembly of BT L2 frames between the dongle and the smart mobile device cellular stack are within spec and meet service delivery requirements. Also to ensure optimal power consumption as LE per standards group body was meant for IoT and not streaming and voice with real-time latency and packet loss requirements.

Senior system engineer working with engineers and design and system operation to ensure standards and quality of service were built in and met. The system to have a back end data collection, reporting and dash-boarding of daily user experience / trouble tickets and network performance data. The database and the user interface data reduction and analytics was customized for technical and management to view and assess historical network operation performance and take action to update software by corrective action in a development environment. Had to coordinate and work in a cross functional team to ensure the upgrade were fully vetted and tested in test markets to ensure operational readiness.

Principal System Engineer working various DoD (US Army, US Navy satellite and command and control system communication, FAA, and Coast Guard) projects, led various project lifecycle roles starting from PRD, Arch and System/Subsystem, Functional and component levels. Responsible for requirement definition generation and upload to deb (IBM Rational Product DOORS) and defect Management (RTC). Working with architect and SMEs to fully understand the design tradeoffs and performance analysis so that as incremental development was done that design requirements were met before reviewed with customer. Involved in change request and product enhancement as new capabilities were identified / shared with customers. Responded to request for information (RFI), proposal submission, authoring technical sections of the doc and supporting cost benefit analysis during the submission process. Spent the last five years working on Mobile User Objective System Ground station development and architecture, security certification and network operation design.

Principal System engineer working Iridium, Teledesic, Celestri, Aspira and other satellite programs working closely with architect and subject matter experts to ensure product and design (HW and SW) were defined, analyzed and designs. To meet business and customer application needs. Authored a change Request to 3GPP2 (R99) TS23.107 Priority and Preemption standards. Co-inventor of two patents and timing and sync white paper.
