To Whom It May Concern:
I am very excited to apply for the Clerk II position at Waterloo Police Department. After a successful career in education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, I retired and am looking for my next career.
As a principal with elementary and middle school experience, it has been essential for me to become skilled at prioritizing and organizing. In order to create and maintain the skill of being organized and handle multiple tasks, I have learned to be extremely adept to paying close attention to detail and deadlines. My writing skills have made communication and collaboration extremely successful. In addition, I consider myself to have outstanding computer and technology skills and have used them to help improve hiring practices and communication with staff, students, parents, and community members.
My strengths as a leader include having high expectations for academic achievement, character, data analysis skills, and the ability to grow a positive building culture. I believe my skill set is well suited to help the Waterloo Police Department as a Clerk II.
As a person of high energy and a focus on developing others, I believe the Clerk II position is the perfect match for my skill set. I look forward to an opportunity to meet with your hiring team about my candidacy for the Clerk II position.
Sincerely,
Paul R. Henely
