Project # 1: UNIFIED & TURNKEY OVERHEAD, UNDERGROUND POWER DISTRIBUTION PROJECTS, TABOUK, ALWAJH, DUBA, KHULAIS, JEDDAH, TAYMA- SAUDI ELECTRICITY COMPANY. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Being a smart team player of a dynamic team my key responsibilities were/are

Responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of work.

Support the construction work planning process through the development of three-week schedules and daily work lists

Initiate field material requisitions.

Perform material withdrawal requests from the central warehouse and check the material when delivered to site.

Ensure quantities are reported correctly and on time.

Develop and monitor to-go work lists for various commodities.

Perform red line mark-ups for As-built drawings .

Attend progress meetings, coordination meetings and quality meetings with subcontractors and other departments.

Interprets electrical design engineering drawings and prepares construction working drawings for the use of contractors as required .

Field sketches of revisions and additions and providing to prepare As-built drawings.

Reviewing of design drawings, related vendor drawings and installation instructions and studies interface problems.

Prepares projections and schedules for workforce, material and equipment requirements.

Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

A visible leader in safety by confirming all electrical safety hazards has been identified and communicated to the work group with the LOTO review and support the LOTO and permit Teams where required .

Plan work with subcontractors and monitor it and control it in accordance with the terms of the contract to stay within the schedule constraints.

Prepare, study and review technical drawings, specifications of Electrical systems and BOQ.

Plan and schedule projects, estimate time and materials, maintain records and files and prepare reports.

Responsible to raise NRIs and Conducting material receiving, installation, SAT tests and other required tests before commissioning with the QC department.

Supervise and monitor the installation of LV, MV & control cables and their joints and terminations as per cable and panel schedules and supporting documents/drawings.

Witness and verify Continuity,IR, Partial Discharge, and Hipot testing for Medium Voltage Cables.

Supervise the installation of Building Lighting& conduits, Small power equipment, Earthing, and Lighting protection equipment according to the drawings and given specifications.

Supervise and Monitor installation of Electrical Equipment like Transformers (50kva,100kva,200kva,300kva), unit & Package Substation (500kva,1000kva,1500Kva, 2500Kva),Ring Main Units ETC .

Supervise and Monitor installation of Electrical Equipment like Emergency diesel generators, ATS Switches, MV&LV Switchgears, MCC, SDB,NLP, FDB,Load banks, UPS & UPS Panels .

Supervise the installation of High masts, street lighting and fence lighting according to the drawings specifica- tions .

Supervise and Monitor installation of Electrical Equipment like Load break switch,Auto reclos- er, Sectionalizers, Voltage regulators, Cut Out Fuses, Surge Arrestors,, Meters and power cables etc.

Draws up specifications instructions for Installation of voltage transformers, overhead or underground cables, and also related electrical equipment used to conduct electrical energy from transmission lines or high voltage distribution lines to consumers.

Monitor and maintain the Quality control on construction progress activities.

Responsible for equipment installation and continued energizing of electrical equipment to pre-commissioning and commissioning.

Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion.

Maintain records on electrical jobs and assign to appropriate personnel.

Capable of Managing Documents such as Technical Reports, Daily Progress and different Protocols Statement.

Provide technical guidance regarding the installation, maintenance and repairing electrical system.

Provide information on modification on work policies, safety regulation, electrical codes and specification.

Maintains system and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules restoring, repairing, rebuilding or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

Ability to perform all kinds of tasks about OH&UG Distribution lines (13.8kv & 33kv) in single and double circuits.

Supervision of Emergency work and Electrical Shutdowns.

Visit site of proposed installation draws rough sketch of location.

Estimates materials equipment and also incidentals needed for installation.

May estimate labor as well as material costs using price Lists records on previous projects.

May inspect complete installation of electrical equipment to verify conformance with specifications.

Supervise and train project team members as necessary.

Site Inspection with QC for the Electrical Equipment (Switchgears, control Panel) installations, LV/MV Cables Pull- ing, termination and Splicing.

Site Inspection with QC for erection of OHTL Poles and pole line hardware, stringing, PMTs, Distribution Trans- former, grounding of poles, Indoor& Outdoor lighting Installation.

Site Inspection with QC for the cable containments (tray, ladders, Conduits) installation, Power Equipment’s at

(Transformers, Switchgears, Rectifiers for traction power supply, Control Panels, Distribution Boards) MV cable pulling and termination at traction power substation room, Lightning power substation room. Computer Skills:
