Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), Atlanta, USA / Stockholm, Sweden Recently transitioned as part of the Technology Leadership Team from Head of Core Platforms and Engineering, to Head of H&M Technology Portfolio. In this role, I will lead a team of program and delivery managers, plus virtual team of architects, strategic business functions and technology leadership centers. Senior Vice President, Head of Core Platforms and Engineering (12/2021 to 08/2024) Responsible for all global core technology platforms and engineering with employee base of 700+ resources. Responsible for API integration platforms, infrastructure and platform engineering, developer experience and CI/CD delivery, enterprise applications (including online transaction platforms and all Point-of-Sale capabilities), technology sustainability and ESG reporting. In addition, responsible for all SAP platform engineering, architecture, supply chain, development, and support.

• Led the team who created a multi-cloud strategy with Azure and Google including new contract agreements totaling over $100M a year spend, enabling all data to be homed out of Google and consolidating 10 different data platforms to Google and Big Query driving more accurate and timely data, significant cost reduction and faster decision making by the business.

• Designed, gained agreement across multiple business and technology senior stakeholders, and established a new technology governance structure and operating model for tech and data, risk, cyber security, finance, architecture standards, plus investment approval and tracking.

• Responsible for planning, engineering, and delivery of technology transformation portfolio for major core technology areas including full migration of 800+ applications to the cloud (Azure and Google), new SD-WAN network to 5000 locations across 9 multi-Brands in 80 countries (store, warehouse, and offices) API integration for over 1000 interfaces, SAP for supply chain transformation, framework, KPI and OKR metrics including criteria and toolsets for CI/CD pipeline delivery.

• Created a new technology organizational blueprint, enabling 25% reduction in employees and consultants by simplifying the structure enabling faster delivery at a lower cost, increased direct accountability across all leaders, integrating business value chains into all Brands and Supply Chain with a phased implementation creating a Product Orientated structure and delivery landscape.
