Bartender /Server, The Monterey Elk’s Lodge; Monterey, CA.- 2023-2024 This was a members only establishment. I was responsible for checking membership I.D.s and checking I.D.s of everyone 35 and under. I maintained the quality standards of the Lodge and its members. My pour specs were on point. I utilized our TOAST system in handling all transactions as we were a cashless bar. Of course maintaining the quality of cleanliness and sanitation. Safe food handling. Promoting events etc. Increasing Memberships. I earned a lot of respect for my services from many of the board members and members of our lodge. My best sales were upwards of $6.000.00 that I and one other bartender pulled in on one event. I also volunteer bartend at the Lyon’s hall in Greenfield.

Bartender, The American Legion Post 594; Prunedale, CA. -2020-2021 Responsibilities included, checking membership cards, handling three different cash registers, one for drinks and food, one for the poker machines, one for lottery tickets. I discovered a lot of black mold . I scrubbed and bleached it until it was up to par. Server, Schilleci’s New Orleans Restaurant in the Woodlands TX. 2010-2012 Responsibilities included, cleaning, side work filling condiments, I taught them how to preserve their wine for optimal consumption. I would do dishes so my dishwasher would not have to come into a mess. I out sold and out served two of their senior waiters. We would do Pre-fix dinners which timing is crucial.
Bartender /Server Outback Steakhouse Prince Frederick MD., 2005-2006This was a Grand Opening. We had to do a Human Resource exam that I scored very high on. Not only did I handle the bar and my section I would pick up extra tables when the servers were slammed. I handled the cash drawer, it’s where I encountered counterfeit bills and testified on behalf of the state of MD. When we were training we were told that obtaining “flair badges” was difficult, I obtained over 50 in less than two months. EDUCATION

Excellent communication skills. I know how to upsell products. Stay updated on drinks recipes. My customer service is top notch. I am meticulous yet fast. I am quite organized and keep my composure under pressure. I am quick to solve any problems that may arise. Have accurately handled cash.
I have caught counterfeit bills in MD. @ The Outback Steakhouse. I have also thwarted quick change artists in Carmel. I card everyone who looks 35 and younger, in doing so, I have stopped minors with fake I.D.s
Cleaning and sanitizing before and after each client. I have earned the respect of my clients and can bring in more business. A clean bar is a happy bar. Teamwork is essential . I pre bus tables, I have helped dishwashers, and fellow servers, assisted management and owners in assuring I follow your expectations. Excellent at time management.
