BUSINESS BACKGROUND:
****-**** – State General Agent representing Pioneer Life Insurance Co. in Florida and Alabama. Responsible for overall management, training, recruiting and sales. My agency was the national top producer 1986-1991.
1991-2007 – Regional Distributor for CUDA Cleaning Systems, Calumet, MI. I was #1 distributor in the United States 4 times in 6 years and in one of the top 3 positions in all remaining years. Produced 25% of company gross sales nationally in 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000 in the three states. In 2001 I sold distribution rights to LA and MS to Deep South Equipment, Shreveport, LA. In 2001 acquired distribution rights to Florida. Built Florida distribution in one year to a top producing state. 2007, sold distribution rights in FL to Cliff Berry, Inc. an environmental company headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
2008-2011 – Lafayette, LA. Opened a remanufacturing facility specializing in restoring used parts washers. Internet sales exploded, sold company.
2011-2013 – January 2011 – Owner Manager of Bradenton Boat Club, Cortez, FL. This 282 slip marina was bought by a private investor out of foreclosure. My duties as marina manager included hiring and managing staff (forklift drivers, dock hands, accounting, maintenance, landscaping): requesting bids for insurance, oil pick up and waste with the FL EPA and DEP. Initiated a service/repair department and in addition, full boat sales and brokerage operation. Increased revenues from $16,000 monthly to $80,000 monthly in 18 months.
2014-2017 – Boat Sales – Regulator, Jupiter, Pursuit, Key West, Pioneer and Bulls Bay.
