My wife and I recently moved to the OKC area to be closer to the family. I am searching for employment in the OKC area. My background is totally in the oil and gas industry. I would be an asset to a company looking for oil and gas industry experience. This will be a condensed version of a resume.

2006 left BP and went into construction. The end of my downstream gas processing/plant experience.

2010 my wife took a promotion with Wells Fargo and we moved to Midland, Texas.

The beginning of my upstream experience. Employed by Cox Services learning pumping units and plunger lift operations.

2012 hired on with BHP as Production Foreman in the Permian Basin field of Texas.

2018 BHP sold to BPX and everyone was let go.

Strengths:

Team player, always treated employees like human beings, make sensible decisions, think before jumping into action. Not set in my ways, still coachable and flexible.

Weakness:

Don’t want anything to do with electricity.

Probably would need some updates on training documentation.

Conclusion:

I am older but still in good health. Looking for something to keep me going. I still have something to offer to a company looking for experienced people. My wife and I are drawing Social Security which makes a salary very negotiable. Would be willing to work through a contract service if need be.
