Hello!
I moved away from my fathers’ home in 2001 after spending 7 years with him growing his business to a point that it would sustain without him working.
I began with Domino’s LLC the same month as CSR and throughout my 8 years there worked my way up their management program becoming a supervisor.
I left Domino’s LLC in 2010 as they sold all their Georgia locations to different franchisees. I joined the largest single owned franchise of Domino’s in America as a General Manager of one location and within 1 year was a supervisor. Two years later I’m promoted to Training Director. Two years after that I’m promoted to Director of Operations. As Ops Director for Cowabunga Inc, I managed 11 supervisors who helped oversee 56 Domino’s locations in Atlanta, Columbus, Birmingham and Montgomery Al.
I left Cowabunga to go to a smaller franchisee who wanted to grow. I joined JMP Pizza Inc as Director of Operations in 2018 and was there until July of this year. We grew from 21 locations to 39 in my 6 years there. Unfortunately, our owner Joseph Mark Podsen (JMP) passed away this year in February. He was my best friend, like an older brother, like a father figure in a way as odd as it may sound. He was only 50 years old. After his death, his daughter, who we were getting certified through Domino’s Franchise Management School, decided that she did not want to keep the company open and began the process of selling stores back to Domino’s and/or other franchisees. There was no longer a reason for me to be there.
I am 44 years old, and I have had 4 jobs. Played every role possible in each of those jobs. The one constant is no matter what, when you can put players in the right position and we are on a team working towards the same goal, people can be pretty amazing.

Tri-State Janitorial Services-Worked for my father. Serviced a number of retirement homes when I first started with him. By the time I moved away to Atlanta, I left him with 4 full time employees, two company trucks and a few chain retail locations including Wal-Mart, Food Lion, Discount Auto Parts, Auto-Zone, Harveys. We cleaned and maintained floors including stripping and waxing, buffing weekly and anything else needed.
