03/83 - 04/02 Huntington National Bank Muskegon MI 49441 Personal Banker Sr Answered phone calls on multi-line telephone systems, directed calls. Opened and closed accounts. Was able to sell insurance and investments. Filled in as a teller, when needed, if they seemed to need a little extra help. Was the one who scheduled the tellers when one wanted time off to make sure that the office was covered and didn’t cause a customer any additional wait time. Resolved customer complaints. Answered customers’ questions and provided information on procedures and policies.

While in accounting I counted each cashiers bag to verify they balanced compared to what their register said vs their drawer said and refilled each drawer, making sure that there was enough money to start their next day. I was the head of setting up the first year of the Affordable Care Act to running smoothly for the clients that came in with questions. I also was able to navigate in bringing in Medicaid to the company so that our patients wouldn’t have to go elsewhere to see if they were able to qualify for Medicaid Insurance. 01/17 - Present Gerber Life Insurance Fremont MI Billing Analyst Posting payments to the customers policies, answer any questions that a policy holder may have, get bills ready to be sent out by verifying the all the payments have been received and if not, to send out a reminder notice so that the policy remains current and active.
