• General

• Assist the Project Managers in completing Projects on time and meeting schedule milestones within the approved budget and schedule (cost and time).

• Assist the Directors and High Management by ensuring schedules and cost systems for monitoring and reporting are in place for all projects, providing timely notice for all key issues and risks affecting the critical path

• Initiate & maintain project controls procedure & process.

• Manage the contract scope, including any claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT).

• Lead and guide the Project Control team to accomplish the tasks on time while maintaining quality.

• Changes Management

• Ensure that the cost and schedule impact of individuals and the effect of the cumulative changes are evaluated.

• Ensure that the changes which are to be compensated by the client/vendor are taken up promptly with the client/vendor. Ensure that we get fairly and adequately compensated for the same.

• Supporting Contract Manager in analyzing schedules and using information for EOT & claims submissions.

• Risk Management

• Attention to identifying risks, assess which are most critical, and put in place plans for mitigation

• Manage Risk Register and update during project execution “to reduce the possibility of a risk occurring and its potential impact”

• Manage Budgeted cost (Earned budget, actual cost, Variance till date, remaining cost to complete, Total forecast at completion) to find forecast variance at Completion.

• Integration of time and cost to manage the project performance using earned value management & KPI.

• Planning and scheduling

• Develop a Master/ Contractual EPC Schedule in Primavera P6, review it with internal and external stakeholders, and set up and maintain a Project Baseline.

• Ensure that the project schedule is prepared correctly to cover the contractual scope and milestone, loaded with the resources required, and approved.

• Liaise with department managers to ensure a realistic schedule.

• Regularly update schedule, maintain schedule KPIs as required.

• Reflect actuals and forecast changes to ensure a realistic update schedule.

• Regular site visits to identify any potential problems that may delay the project and highlight the same to Management, thereby controlling project risks.

• Discuss project resource allocation with Management on a regular basis to ensure that all projects have adequate resources and control any resource idling.

• Using the critical path method (CPM) to determine schedule deviations from the plan, corrective actions can be implemented to minimize schedule and cost impact on the project's performance.
