Duties: Serve as the team lead responsible for the development, management, and evaluation of varied and complex operating programs/projects for the Special Projects and Operations Office, Operations Team. Analyze, evaluate, measure and report effectiveness of assigned programs and their progress toward meeting program objectives. Preparation of briefings, to include reports and other documents, represents G8 at working and senior level meetings. Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of Security and Emergency Management programs and by providing detailed analysis and recommendations for the improvement of operations to meet current and future operational needs. Research, analyze and compile, and brief Senior Leaders on all internal and external tasking’s and suspense’s. Duties: Budget analyst responsible for day-to-day budget management and administration including planning, coordinating and directing the overall resource analysis of the Software Engineering Center Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA), program. Expert planner where I was responsible for reviewing, compiling, summarizing, and preparing budgetary and cost data (including budget estimates and financial plans) in accordance with current year internal and external budget regulatory guidance, for annual and multi-year programs. Developed funding guidance, and provided advice and assistance to other analysts and subordinate branches within the Software Engineering Center, in the formulation of all OMA short and long range budget estimates; and provided recommended solutions to budgetary problems in all phases of the budget cycle. These recommended strategies and techniques ensured compliance with all financial laws, rules, and regulations in all phases of the budget administration. Appointed as the Internal Control Administrator (ICA) for the Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP) for the Software Engineering Center utilizing the Management Control Records Tool (MCRT).
