Uniti Fiber, Saint Petersburg, FL 02/2016 – 02/2024
Sales and GIS Strategic Accounts
· In charge of all large bid, nationwide design of network fiber, ILA, and Central Office equipment.
· Worked with a team to design from CO to CO or ILA to ILA a Dark Fiber and or Lit network of fiber with spans across the US but mostly in the SE region where we owned the most fiber (FL, AL, AR, GA, MS, LA).
· In charge of exporting KMZ Google Earth files and using the FiberLocator application to display our fiber to other companies of whom we also leased fiber from on occasion.
· We used mostly Ciena 6500 and 1830 equipment for our network but also used Cisco and Infinera equipment to pass off the signal to our customers.
· Worked with ArcGIS Pro and MapInfo Pro fiber design products.
· Fiber Designs provided from 10G to 1T network speeds.
· Worked in excel and used tables and formulas to calculate outside plant construction costs. Used VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and PivotTables.
· Performed outside plant activities such as splice case, hand hole and pole locate for fiber cable runs.

Fiber Optic Design and Outside Plant Engineering
· In charge of the design of Fiber to the Home designs including the central office equipment, lasers and signal to get to a headend located at the residential neighborhood cabinets.
· In charge of field engineering from the cabinet to all underground access points within a neighborhood to deliver FTTH technologies to a control panel on each individual house.
· In charge of coordinating with electric company to use joint trenches to access each household.
· In charge of electricity and ground wire installation to each individual unit equipment. In high rise construction, in charge of business and or residential planning and design into telco closets and design of drop wires to each individual outlet within the office or residence.
· Configure all drop wires to go through optical to electrical conversion onto CAT5 or CAT6 wiring. Field engineering documentation of all poles and underground vaults with fiber and coax. Worked in Microsoft excel to keep track of all fibers used and calculate light loss at each splice.

· Logging into all of the equipment for the national and international NOC for CentutryLink communications.
· Monitoring all equipment for passive fiber optic and or electrical signal degradation leading to errors or signal loss to the network. Responsible for detecting outages of broken fiber during construction, planned or unplanned.

· Fiber Optic Communications Engineering to run Voice, Video and Data over a fiber optic infrastructure to single family developments, manufactured housing developments and apartment complexes.
· In charge of site visits for properties to do an audit on the existing facilities and infrastructure so that Connexion can design and engineer the new facilities to tie into the existing infrastructure required to run voice, video and/or data to the property.
· Assist sales and attend meetings with developers to utilize Connexion Technologies services for all of their voice, video and data services at the new property.

· Managed a budget for a team of designers, field engineers, project managers, contractors and fellow colleagues to place fiber, copper, structure and equipment to existing and new developments for residential and business phone, data and video lines.
· Worked with a $160 million dollar budget plan. Project managed fiber SHNS, SHARP rings with multiple redundancy paths for Charles Schwab. Planned for OC12 to OC192 fiber rings.
· Worked with Central Office Engineers to manage facilities for sub-developments and corporations within the State of Arizona. Designed engineering outside plant drawings for field engineers to build out copper and fiber optic facilities.
· Started a fiber to the curb process for lucrative sub-developments in the State of Arizona.
· Developed working relationship skills with Cisco and Nextel operations and forms for routers, and other enhanced provisioning products.
· Reviewed the existing networks to perform a cost analysis with timelines scheduled for work production and execution.
