Joined Huntington as an FTE on March 1, 2021 to support the new Standby Cash application. The Standby Cash pilot was rolled out on April 14, 2021, with the full roll out to all customers on May 27, 2021. There were a significant number of fixes, upgrades and modifications made to the application. The most significant new features added was the development of a real- time updates to Fiserv for DDA accounts that were in a 24 hour overdraft situation and credit line increases/decreases to the customer’s account.

November 16, 2020 – February 26, 2021 Mainframe Developer Integral member of team responsible for standing up a new digital-only offered product called Standby Cash. Customers could qualify for a micro-loan based on their checking account history, not their credit score. There was no cost to the customer for the funds as long as it was paid back over 3 installments via auto payment, otherwise, a 1% monthly interest charge (12% APR) was applied to the outstanding balance. Several new mainframe jobs were developed to process files to and from the vendor Fiserv. Additionally new jobs were developed to update DB2 tables with information from Fiserv. Jobs developed for the following Standby Cash processes; eligibility, enrollment, alerts, and servicing. The servicing of accounts included; account closure and detail update process, account status change, process auto payments, credit line change process, draw detail update process, demographic updates, 24 hour overdraft process and payments and draw processes. Would be contacted for any issues that occurred during the nightly batch cycles. Also supported any jobs that were executed during the day. In addition to researching and resolving production issues, the team worked on break/fix tickets and all the smaller projects related to all the application systems supported.
