COMMUNITY SERVICE:

1) Neighborhood leader, community organizer 2010-2024,for neighborhood meetings which held educational benefit including community policing, animal welfare, neighborhood pot luck dinners, collecting donations for memorial trees for our neighbors who have passed (3) and getting trees planted in our park, etc.

2) City of Tempe animal welfare department 2021-24 trapping throughout the City of Tempe as directed, which includes trapping, neutering/spaying feral or free roaming community cats and either returning them to the street where they were found or fostering them for rescues to be rehomed indoors.

3) A member of Tempe Homeless Coalition, City of Tempe social services, working with other professionals for homeless solutions and services, 2016-2020

4) Aris Foundation, a 501C3, 2016-2020 working as a homeless advocate, finding resources for homeless persons including dinners and donors, temporary housing, medical care, etc.

5) Liberty Wildlife Rescue hotline, (remote) 2017-2019 sending out rescuers for injured bald eagles, injured hawks, pelicans flown off course, all manner of water fowl and directing various law enforcement to send officers to guard these large raptors until a rescuer was able to engage. Organized transport for an injured bird from a far away Arizona city. Sometimes, if the animal needing rescue was close, I would go myself to catch and deliver to the rescue; small birds, baby bunnies, etc.
