It is my intention to continue to pursue my passion and purpose in life. It has always been a widely held belief that the reason I was born was to help people who suffer from many of the same adversities in which I have become a survivor. Anyone who might benefit from supportive assistance to maintain a successful recovery from life's circumstances and difficulties. Providing assistance to anyone that, along with myself, identify as a person who is willingly and actively participating in their own physical and mental health wellness journey.
I was always expected to obtain a B.S. (or higher) degree within the mental health field. However, I needed to decide whether to continue furthering my education, or to care for both of my dying parents along with single parenting my two children. I chose the latter. While doing so, I was able to obtain both of my associate level degrees. During this time, I submerged myself in every available social science credit offered; and completed each course with a high level of ability and ease. It was my level of dedication to my studies, as well as in overcoming many personal difficulties,in addition to my previous employment where I held a supportive role- that have given me an ability to provide appropriate insight, hope and encouragement to those who may benefit from receiving this help. Equally important is the capability I have to provide positive ways of interaction which helps to facilitate a deeper understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses, while paving a productive path along the road to wellness and recovery. While primarily focusing on raising self- esteem and awareness, in order to uncover and/or strengthen each person's unique set of talents and abilities. Unfortunately it is also essential to have a clear understanding that in many instances, there will be those that will endure a life- long struggle. This is where an accurate ability to assess future needs is also required. As well as a strong ability to effectively communicate those needs to the person. This is where my level of dedication and passion to my purpose may be most beneficial. Willing to relocate: Anywhere
