Where are my files
As per the new Google Play Policy changes and
requirements, we would like to inform you about
modifications to Aloha’s File Manager.
From this day forward files downloaded
in Aloha Browser are in the scoped
storage. It will no longer be accessible
in other applications, except for the
Aloha Browser File Manager. Also,
downloading files to a selected folder
is no longer possible, except for the
folders in Aloha File Manager.
Files already downloaded are still on your
device, but depending on former settings, they
can now be found in the following:
The private folder remains identical —
private files are stored in the folder and
accessible only within the Aloha
Browser app.
By default, the downloads folder in the
settings will remain the same.
If you had set up your downloads
to ‘System Downloads folder’, the files will
be accessible in Aloha’s Device Downloads
folder.
If you had set up downloads to a custom
folder such as ‘Music’ or ‘My Files’, these
files will be no longer available. However,
they will be available in the third-party file
managers in the folder it was created.
If you had set up your downloads to a folder
on an SD card, the files will be of quick
access in Aloha’s File Manager.
In regard to the Public folder, according
to the new Google Play policy; Files downloaded
in Aloha Browser can be viewed, edited, shared,
etc. Files downloaded in other applications, but
stored in Aloha Browser can only be viewed and
copied. To avoid confusion, such files have
a ’no editing’ icon in the upper left corner.

User’s privacy and security remains one
of the most important criteria for us, therefore
the Private Downloads folder remains safe and
functions with no interruptions.
