Children’s Hospital- EVS Apr. 2020-Sept 2022

I floated everywhere in the hospital when help was needed. As a Lead I gathered and emptied trash and linen. Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping. Follow guidelines for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment in order to prevent damages. Also transports and appropriately handles trash, recycling, medical waste, linen, and other items in the designated area and maintains waste areas within regulatory standards. Cleans windows and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions. Trauma in the Emergency Dept, I maintained sterile cleaning, bed linen change, and floor care. I also perform specific interior and exterior medical housekeeping cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment throughout the hospital especially in the fast paced areas. I also make sure to put wet floor signs for safety purposes. I also do coverage on other departments throughout the hospital.

Performed a variety of routine cleaning tasks and maintains assigned work area and equipment in a safe, orderly, and sanitary condition at all times. Duties consistent with cleaning patient rooms or dismissal units are including but not limited to disinfecting all surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning of sinks, counter areas, shower and toilet, dusting, mopping and vacuuming, restocking paper products and disinfecting all public areas such as waiting areas, public restrooms - including sinks, toilets, spot washing walls, damp mop, and stairwells –which should consist of trashing areas, damp disinfecting all areas, spot wash walls, and damp disinfecting of handrails. University of Colorado Hospital-Housekeeping; September 2016-June 2017 Duties includes cleaning patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. I followed policies and procedures in patient isolation rooms. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. I also maintain cart and equipment in clean and working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Hilton Hotel- Banquet Setup; January 2014-August 2016 I set up all meetings, meal functions, and audio visual equipment by hotel and company policies. To facilitate all customer requests in a timely and courteous manner. Set up banquet meeting space per room set-up instructions i.e. classroom style, theater style, U-shaped, weddings, and graduations. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet meeting space. Maintain communication with the guest contact person for needed items including extra chairs, tables, etc. Inform supervisor of guest complaints and concerns. Break down all equipment at the end of the function. Convention Centre of Fort Lauderdale- Banquet June 2012-May 2014 My duties were to take orders from customers, ensure the clientele is satisfied and greet customers. I also had to make orders for the restaurant's needs.
