The Work

Requirements

•United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record).

Volunteer Work

NAMI National Alliance for mental Illness

Advocate and facilitator of the peer to peer connections support group. At any given time I had 2 to 14 people struggling from mental illness that was in my support group.

NAMI advocates assist the mentally ill by providing training classes for Law Enforcement and other agencies so they have a better understanding of mental illness, how to work with them, what they need, and how substance abuse affects them.

Provide assistance to the mentally ill, includes getting these individuals the necessary medical attention and support they need, make doctor appointments, medication management, a 24 hour warm line for those in crisis to call and find resources.

Provide clothing, personal hygiene products and other needed items or services.

OASIS

Ran all the activities Games cards group talk anything to help those in need even something as small as arts and crafts for the mentally ill 3 days a week as well as a mentor

Club House Model

Grant writing and involvement. I was writing grants to attempt to get funding for this facility we need so much in this community.

Project Homeless

I started Project Homeless in 2015 in an effort to help the homeless and less fortunate. It grew very quickly where we had enough volunteers to serve over 150 people a full home cooked meal. We also provide clothing, hygiene products, and other needed items. We also work with community resources to find housing and funding for services.

I have my Traffic Control Flagging license as an Oregon work zone traffic controller from the Oregon Department of Transportation expiration Date 2/19/2022
