In my current position at Sterling Projects, Inc., a Commercial Property Management and Residential Housing Developer/Builder, I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of property management. My accounting skills are particularly strong, as I have performed all accounting functions for both divisions using AMSI software for Property Management and Peachtree for residential housing. Additionally, I have experience with shopping centers, apartments, and showrooms, and I am responsible for maintaining general ledger and chart of accounts entries. Other key responsibilities include preparing financial statements and budgets, managing full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciling all bank accounts and intercompany accounts, preparing payroll and payroll filings, and preparing proposals and leases for commercial properties. I also oversee all regular scheduled and emergency building maintenance, generating associated work orders and delegating them to maintenance staff. Finally, I am responsible for preparing all monthly, quarterly, and annual billings associated with reimbursable expenses incurred in commercial property rentals. In my previous role at Aviva Petroleum Inc., I was responsible for a range of administrative duties in both the international and accounting departments. This included word processing, managing all correspondence, creating, maintaining, and filing personnel files, and serving as a backup for the receptionist. Additionally, I assisted the Executive Vice President with any task requested, managed full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable, scheduled, managed, and coordinated meetings, prepared shipping and receiving manifest and RFQs, and handled general office administrative duties.
