I worked at the Common Man Inn for just over a year doing a variety of different things. I was hired as laundry, but immediately started doing everything from Maintenance to Publics due to short staffing and my flexibility within the workplace. I stocked the soda vending machines, cleaned the public areas such as hallways, event spaces, spa and pool area, lobby etc. I also helped strip the rooms of laundry and trash for the housekeepers, and provided transportation for other employees to the various locations within the establishment. I helped with shoveling and trash clean up outside as well. During the time of renovations I helped remove old furniture as well as move the new furniture in, and helped with construction clean up. Overall I am an extremely flexible employee willing to help in different areas. Christmas Tree Shearer

As a Christmas tree shearer, I have learned to work in multiple conditions, ranging from rain to extreme heat, and to deal with pesks such as bees, hornets, and other insects. I also learned to do multiple outdoor activities such as weeding and maintaining the grounds. I adjusted to repetitive motions that were hard on my body. I also had to transport myself around the grounds, allowing me to experience driving in a different terrain than I was used to. Overall I am a hard working individual that is willing to do the work others are not.
