PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Supply logistic Specialist

Serves as a Principal Property Book Accountability . Administers, plans, and assists with directing the facility management program for the DC Army National Guard (DCARNG) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Maintain delegated authority as Property Book, which also entails the management of the records for all leased, loaned and borrowed equipment, and the management of the records for all equipment transferred into and out of the Property Book. Experienced in using GCSS (Global Combat Supply Support System) Army system to accurately account for all non-expendable property. Request, receives and issues non-expendable property items to the Primary Hand Receipt Holders and designated representatives.

●Reviews records, system documentation, and operations to ensure accountability is maintained in

●according to AR 735-5 and other pertinent regulations and directives. Interprets, supplements, and implements regulations and directives of higher headquarters.

●Assures all requisitions for the purchase of equipment, personal property, and supplies are properly reviewed for authorization and processed according to all applicable Army Regulations. Challenges requisitions on the basis of economy and supply discipline. Returns unjustified requests for further justifications to originating elements and rejects requests that cannot be justified in light of the operating element mission, funds, or other available alternatives. Applies document numbers, priorities designators, etc., as set forth in applicable regulations

●Assists with coordinating the change of command inventories. Reviews, prioritizes, and processes customer requisitions to ensure accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with established regulations

●Mentored and developed over 500 soldiers on Unit Supply Operations; enhanced their technical skills and facilitation effectiveness

●Ensures all classes of property are issued in accordance with regulations. Ensures that all TDA equipment is on hand or on requisition at all times. Supervises the establishment of hand receipt files for TDA and Brigade property; Property Book accountability through the use of GCSS-Army hand receipt listings; DA Form 2062 (Hand Receipt) for durable and controlled property; and the maintenance of supporting document files for non-expendable supply transactions
