Organize, maintain and ensure the health information data contained in the electronic medical record of all astronauts
(candidates, active and retired) as well as their dependents, and all AOD (Aircraft Operations Directorate) meets and/or exceeds legal, medical and ethical standards of JSC Clinic’s Flight Medicine Clinic.
Abstraction of all incoming outside provider as well as ‘in-house’ medical consult and imaging study (MRI, ultrasound, radiology, etc.) reports.
Liaison to NASA/JSC flight surgeons, especially NASA’s audiologist, providing H.I.M. support as needed.
Lead Safety Representative for JSC Clinic (OMC and FMC) responsible for oversight of monthly clinic safety inspections as well as annual clinic staff safety reviews and trainings as part of deliverables for HHPC.
