Domestic Logistics Coordinator

Work with carriers to price loads for our customers TL & LTL loads

Set up delivery schedule with customers on their portals

Make schedules with warehouses for following day loads to be collected to make deliveries appointed

Troubleshoot any driver issues and missed appointments

Duties in this position are:

Corresponding with overseas agents on quoting for a job. Once the jobs are accepted, I contact the shippers to set up the pick ups of their orders and advise the necessary documentation that will be needed to move the cargo to their customers overseas

Work with Local truckers, Airlines, ocean carriers to arrange the shipments, prepare my documents for export and overnight the docs to the trucker for airline drops.

Send agents pre alerts and track the shipment until it reached the final destination, then bill it out.

As for the import portion side of things. Overseas agents send me documents for something coming in and I would contact the customer in the States get their broker info and contact the airlines for their AMS details to alert the customs broker.
