DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGEMENT - Monitors and reports on all security aspects of the DRS Proxy Agreement requirements, DRS Security policies and procedures, and physical security programs and activities at a DRS cleared facility. Implements manage to and ensure compliance with DRS security policies, procedures, and directives. Primary advisor to senior leadership on all site physical and Proxy security compliance matters. Experience writing security volumes for proposals. Carry out supervisory responsibilities under the organization's policies and applicable laws and regulations. Lead activities to resolve issues and problems, identifying root cause and effecting appropriate corrective action. Develop and recommend short- and long-range objectives, consistent with organization guidelines. Continually identify and assess risks and deploy proactive mitigation plans. Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization. Respond to queries from employees. Attend applicable internal or external customer meetings. As requested, implements all Corporate Security direction, policy, and procedures throughout the facility in support of NISP and DRS security requirements Maintains all security requirements for programs under their purview to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and relevant supplemental DoD policies and directives. Consistently and accurately reviews responses to and processes all security paperwork and systems for accuracy, completion, and submission. Conducting meetings, security education classes, and security audits, as required. Conducting research, Analyzing information and results. Diverse portfolio of military products and technologies, focused on battlefield reconnaissance and surveillance, survivability, lethality, heavy transport, mobility, fuel and water distribution, radar, and electronic systems testing.

Oversees badging of employees, visitors, consultants, and government representatives to ensure compliance with DRS policy. Performs quality control by conducting periodic self-inspections on local processes and practices ensuring NISP compliance; accurately reports security posture to the site, group, and corporate leadership. Conducts and coordinates investigations into security violations related to cleared information systems; ensures corrective actions are implemented. Supports communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values, and culture of the organization. Deliver Security Awareness Training and Simulated Phishing emails. Responsible for the positive control of all classified accountable items, ensuring compliance with contractual security obligations identified in the contract security classification specification (DD Form 254).

INFORMATION SECURITY - Ensuring compliance with all required government information system reporting and requirements. Providing guidance, coordination, and resourcing for Information Systems Security Manager and team to maintain classified networks. Preparing reports specifying preventive action. Assist in the development of security remediation efforts and track them to completion. Report or suggest to department management potential ways to improve cost and performance effectiveness for security systems and processes. Generate and maintain accurate comprehensive incident reports and conducts thorough investigations. Maintain report records, assist, follow up on investigations, and approve reports and logs. Initiates and assists General liability reports. Systems include, but are not limited to JPAS, eFCL, ISFD, DIAS, SIMS, and eQIP. Conducts periodic self-inspections on local processes and practices ensuring Proxy, DCSA, and customer compliance (e.g., California)

PHYSICAL SECURITY - Assist with the physical buildout of the installation of security hardware, cameras, programming of processors, and troubleshooting systems components including the host, field panels, badge readers, badge printers, etc. Assisting in the development of various plans to include OPSEC, Emergency Action, and facility policies and procedures. Business development skills combined with broad business, project, and contract management experience, including review, preparation, and generation of contract security documentation (e.g., DD-254s, etc.) Providing regular updates to Program Managers and Directors on the status of all manners related to security management. Promotes loss prevention through training and awareness throughout the building to reduce claims. Manage and supervise the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property.

INDUSTRIAL SECURITY - Department of Justice (DOJ) Dangerous Weapons, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives – (ATF) Federal Firearms, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Facility Compliance; accurately reports security posture to the site, group, and corporate leadership. Develops, conducts, coordinates, and delivers all site and program-specific security education programs ensuring all facility personnel complete appropriate security training. Conduct security awareness briefings and debriefings, including counterintelligence, pre-and post-travel, and suspicious contact reports to site personnel.

SECURITY CULTURE DEVELOPMENT - Develop and sustain an engaging Security Awareness Program that influences attitudes and changes behaviors to build a safer work environment. Ensure the Program meets Group compliance requirements and relevant industry regulations and standards. Socialize the Program enhancements with fellow members of the committee and assist in leading its adoption, taking into consideration diverse cultures, nationalities, and languages.
