Position: Warehouse Associate - Night

Location: Shippensburg, PA

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift Differential: $2.25

Benefits: You will be eligible to participate in the Company’s medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and other benefit plans based on the terms and conditions of the plans.

Vacation: You will accrue vacation based on your Vacation Service Date at a bi-weekly rate of 3.08 hours. The accrual rate will change during the week of your 5, 10, and 15-year vacation anniversaries.

Employment with Schenker Inc. is contingent upon a satisfactory background and reference check and proof of eligibility for employment in the United States. If Schenker deems these checks satisfactory but they reveal certain types of convictions, your employment and continued employment will also require the approval of the Assistant Commissioner of the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and may require the approval of other federal, state, or local government agencies, including, but not limited to, the US Department of Justice/Drug Enforcement Administration. This approval can take several weeks to achieve, and so if you do start employment prior to our receipt of a response from any such agency, you acknowledge and agree that your employment and continued employment with Schenker, Inc. remains contingent upon agency approval. You are also required to pass a drug/ substance/ alcohol screen in accordance with our corporate guidelines.

Any prior oral, written or implied understandings or statements regarding the terms and conditions of your employment with the Company that differ from those set forth in this offer letter are superseded by the terms and conditions in this letter.

Your signature further confirms that you have represented and provided to us your employment agreement, agreement not to compete, confidentiality agreement, or any similar agreement, with your current or any prior employer which would in any way affect, limit or restrain your ability to perform the duties of the position which we are offering to you. In the event that you do have an employment agreement, agreement not to compete, confidentiality agreement, or any similar agreement, your signature below confirms and acknowledges Schenker’s requirement and expectation of you that you do not bring to, or use in, your job at Schenker any materials, including but not limited to, confidential or proprietary materials, belonging to your current or any prior employer. Schenker requires and expects you, and you agree, to honor the provisions of any such agreement and not bring with you to your employment at Schenker any information, data, or materials from your current or any prior employer. During the course of your employment, should any of your job duties suggest or require you to perform functions which potentially may violate any agreement with a prior employer, Schenker expects and requires you, and you agree, to advise Schenker in advance of performing such functions so that Schenker can evaluate those activities further.
